Business Estate, Industrial Units and Arches for Network Rail
Robinson Kenning & Gallagher were appointed by Network Rail to carry out Architectural, Contract Administrator and Principal Designer roles by Network Rail for a refurbishment of 6no. (I&J, K&L, M&N) light industrial units. The comprehensive scheme from Grip Stage 5 to 8 London Stone Business Estate is an industrial site consisting of steel frame, brick and metal clad industrial units and industrial arches. The contractor was First Call Building Services Ltd.
Works included : New services, new cladding, new sectional industrial doors, flooring, kitchens and WC facilities amongst others. Fully compliant DDA facilities were built and external drainage and groundworks were completed as necessary. The structural engineers were PGCS and the construction programme was 34 weeks. As an additional service to the Client RKG were also appointed to provide 3D models/visualisations of the proposed industrial units and photo-realistic renders.
